Krone confirms construction of Logistics Centre
Preliminary work on the construction of the new Krone Parts and Logistics Center in Spelle has begun with the erection of a fence and the removal of topsoil. UK national sheep flock increased by 3% in 2021 
The UK national sheep flock stood at 14.5 million head on 1 December, showing an increase of 3% for the period of 2021. IFA calls for further assistance in pig farming sector
The Irish Farmers’ Association (IFA) has called for an increase in pig prices. This comes as the pig farming sector is reporting that farmers are currently losing €56,000/month and the cost of feed continues to increase. IFA National Pigs Committee chair Roy Gallie is calling on processors to deliver price increases back to farmers.
