Ennis Mart’s (Clare Marts) Monday, 20th February 2023, Sheep Auction presented nice size sheep with 380 on offer. There were a lot of heavy hoggets about again. The general run of these was €137 to €143, with a few exceptional lots making to €152. Another good week planned for Ennis Mart

Ennis Mart had a good entry of bullocks at their annual show and sale of bullocks last Friday, which saw some excellent cattle on offer. There was quite a number of short keep cattle available, but not a huge amount of beef available. Stores for grass were scarce. Bullocks hit €2,900 for a LMX of 880kgs.
