Ennis Mart’s (Clare Marts) Monday, 20th February 2023, Sheep Auction presented nice size sheep with 380 on offer.
There were a lot of heavy hoggets about again. The general run of these was €137 to €143, with a few exceptional lots making to €152. A bigger entry of cull ewes today with some great heavy ewes on offer and these made to €189 for a ewe of 100kgs. A handful of ewes and lambs made to €200 for singles.

Today the mart features Dry Cows & Aged Bulls in Ring 1 from 11:00, as well as Heifers in Ring 2 at 11:30. Tomorrow Bullocks will be on sale from 10:30.
