Nearly 19,000 applicants for the Beef Exceptional Aid Measure (BEAM) are on track to meet the bovine nitrates five per cent reduction requirement by the 30 June deadline. Cork farmers have set up Ireland’s first co-operative for sharing machinery between its members.
