Nitrates Derogation applications extended, says DAFM 
The deadline for applying for Nitrates Derogation has been extended, the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) has announced. 5% – 15% Increase in TAMS reference costs
Higher reference costs will now apply to all applications made under the Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS). A new survey indicates that rental prices are expected to increase by 10%, while land prices are set to rise by an average of 6% for 2022. This is according to the Agricultural Land Market Review Outlook Report 2022 published by the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) and Teagasc.
