High price volatility in building materials must be curbed – SCSI

The main reasons for current price inflation is high price volatility across building materials – particularly insulation, cement, plasterboard metals, according to the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI). Huge 178% jump of fertiliser prices in just one year

The latest data from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) shows that fertiliser prices have increased by a whopping 178% in the year up to April 2022.
