O’Sullivan dairy farm hosts farm congress delegates

The award-winning O’Sullivan dairy farm in Cork recently hosted more than 300 visitors as part of the European Dairy Farmers Congress, which took place in Ireland. Septic tank system inspections to increase due to high failure volume

Tight supplies, UK beef prices support trade

IFA Livestock chairman Brendan Golden said tight supplies of suitable cattle and strengthening UK beef prices are underpinning the trade. Despite attempts by factories to offer lower quotes, strong resistance from farmers is returning paid beef prices of up to 15c/kg above quotes.
