UK Weather Forecast from Monday, 24th July to Friday, 28th July

A band of rain will move away from the south, leaving a blend of clear intervals and periodic showers in its wake.

Today’s Synopsis

The rain will dissipate over England and Wales, although hefty showers will linger in the southeast for a while. A combination of sunshine and sporadic showers will pervade the rest of the regions, accompanied by a brisk breeze making it feel slightly chilly. Showery rains will encroach into northwest Scotland later in the day.

Tonight’s Forecast

Many areas will remain dry during the evening, but showers are likely, particularly in Scotland, where cloud cover will also be more significant. Elsewhere, abundant clear intervals will let the mercury drop.

Tuesday, 25th July

Following a locally cool start, Tuesday promises intervals of sunshine punctuated by occasional showers. These showers may intensify and become thundery in parts of the north and east.

Forecast from Wednesday to Friday

Expect unsettled conditions on both Wednesday and Thursday, with renewed episodes of rain and stronger winds sweeping in from the west, bringing with them a feeling of humidity. Friday will be a mixed bag of sunshine and showers.
