TODAY

Monday 24th July – Initial sunny periods followed by occasional showers today. This afternoon, expect random showers to form in the eastern and southern regions, some of which could be heavy, while elsewhere showers will be more sporadic. Gentle to fair northwestern or fluctuating winds will accompany temperatures peaking at 15 to 20 degrees, with the lowest readings in the northwest.

TONIGHT

Early in the evening, showers will become few and far between, resulting in dry, clear conditions in many places overnight. Winds will shift to a gentle westerly or unpredictable pattern. A relatively chilly night for the season with temperatures falling between 7 to 10 degrees, possibly even lower in certain areas.

TOMORROW

Tuesday 25th July – The day will begin mostly clear and dry with a light westerly breeze. Clouds will start to accumulate from the west during the afternoon with scattered showers appearing as well. Most of these showers will initially be seen in the western counties, while the east will likely remain dry for a longer period. Temperatures will reach highs of 15 to 20 degrees.

Tuesday Night: Cloud coverage will keep increasing from the west, resulting in sporadic rain affecting the western counties at first. This rainfall will spread nationwide overnight with the potential for some heavy showers. Moderate to brisk southwest winds expected, with temperatures hovering between 12 to 15 degrees.

Wednesday, 26th July

Prepare for a wet and somewhat blustery day. Rain belts will traverse the nation during the afternoon and evening, bringing potential heavy showers, especially in the western counties. Moderate to brisk southwest winds will be noticeably stronger in areas along the Atlantic coast. Also, expect humid conditions with highs of 18 to 21 degrees.

Wednesday Night

The wet and windy conditions will persist overnight with continuous rain sweeping the nation. The rain may get heavy at times, accompanied by gusty southwest winds. As dawn approaches, rain will start to ease into showers, with winds shifting to a westerly direction. Expect minimum temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees.

Thursday, 27th July

Expect a day of scattered showers under a cloud-filled sky, propelled by a brisk westerly breeze. As the afternoon progresses, the eastern part of the country may witness some sunny intervals. Maximum temperatures ranging from 17 to 21 degrees.

Thursday Night

A night of variable cloudiness and occasional showers, which will mostly be restricted to the western counties as we approach midnight. Moderate westerly winds will amplify along the Atlantic coast, resulting in more consistent showers there overnight. Expect lows of 11 to 14 degrees.

Friday, 28th July

Friday will bring unsettled conditions due to low pressure influence. Expect gusty westerly winds with widespread showers throughout the day. There is a potential for some heavy and possibly thunderous showers in the north. Temperatures will peak between 15 to 18 degrees.
