At the heart of this one-off sale is the retiring farmer’s cherished cattle, all of which have been raised with meticulous care, love and expertise. These cows are not mere livestock; they symbolise years of devoted farming and the resilience of the agricultural community.

Topping the sale list is an Auxiliary heifer born on 14th February 2020. This magnificent creature has just recently reared her first calf, illustrating the vigour and vitality that she embodies. Although not currently in calf, the heifer is cycling regularly, showing promising fertility potential for her future owners.

The line-up also includes a Belgian Blue-cross Angus cow, born on 13th April 2013. This seasoned mother has given birth to a Charolais bull calf on 9th February 2023. Not resting on her laurels, the BAX cow went back in calf on 2nd May 2023, this time to the same AI bull, CH4160.

The SIX cow, born on 30th April 2015, also boasts a similar story. She gave birth to a Charolais bull calf on 13th February 2023 and went back in calf to the same AI bull, CH4160, on 2nd May 2023.

Each animal in this sale represents a unique opportunity for new and experienced farmers alike. These animals are well-bred, with proven fertility and the capacity to produce superior calves. With their individual histories and potential, they are more than just cattle; they embody an investment in the future of farming.

The auction will take place via the LSL Auctions App, allowing prospective buyers to participate from the comfort of their own homes. To partake in this exclusive sale, interested buyers are advised to register and start online bidding through the app.

In the often unpredictable world of farming, this event at Carrigallen Mart stands as a reminder of the resilience, dedication and community spirit that characterises the industry.
