Native Breed Show and Sale in Dungannon Mart

The Pedigree Angus, Beef Shorthorn, Hereford event in Dungannon Mart today begins at 12:00. One beauty can be seen in Lot 14, which is the awesome Country Crest Jack.

Also take note of Lots 16, 23 and 29 at this Native Breeds Sale, which will be 3 bulls – all are homozygous polled and have great figures. Plus a forward heifer in Lot 31 which is due to calf in March.

Great stock to watch for includes Vagabond, which has the highest Retail Beef Yield figure. Maternal brother was Champion & Top Price 2020 Sale at 4500gns. Dam is full sister to 10,800gns Kitkat.

Then there’s Vindicator, the highest Terminal index figure. Maternal brother equalled the NI Record Price of 5100gns in 2019, maternal sister sold last April for 6000gns. The dam is full sister to Lawman.

Also look out for Wayne, highest Eye Muscle Figure. Dams maternal brother National was Junior Champion Balmoral 2017 and sold privately to Baldinnie Herd. Then there’s Pansy V24 – her granddam is full sister to Landmark, sold for 8200gns in 2015. Highest figured female in the sale, due in March to fabb 1 Top Prize.
