Roscommon Mart’s Show & Sale of Weanlings happens today, on Tuesday, 27 September 2022.
Judging will be at 15:00. The Sale is at 16:00. Gates open at 12:00 Noon .
2 Sales Rings.
All cattle must be penned by 1 p.m.
The prizes are:
1st: €200, 2nd: €150, 3rd: €100
Class 1: Best Pen of Bull Weanlings (Minimum of 4)
Class 2: Best pen of Heifer Weanlings (Minimum of 4)
Champion Pen of Weanlings
The James F. Conry-Candler Memorial Perpetual Cup is kindly donated by the Conry-Candler family, and will be awarded to the winner.
The John Dolan Memorial Perpetual Cup is kindly donated by the Dolan family of Errick, Four Roads, Roscommon, and will be awarded to the winner of the Best Pen of Weanlings of the Opposite Sex to the Winner of the Champion Pen.
Rules of the Show
1 Entries for show taken on the Sale Day.
2. All Show Weanlings must be penned by 13:00.
3 Show Weanlings must be born in 2022 in exhibitors own herd.
4. Only one entry per herd owner per class
5. All prize winners will be offered for sale at 17:30, and must be sold in the sales ring to collect prize money.
6. The judges decision is final
