Dublin Horse Show Public Judging Competition is now digital

Dublin Horse Show

The Public Judging Competition, which is synonymous with the Dublin Horse Show, has gone digital. This year the competition will run over 2 or 3 classes on each day of the five-day event, which takes place from Wednesday, 17 August to Sunday, 21 August, 2022.

The competition is open to everyone, and provides visitors with the opportunity to demonstrate their extensive equine knowledge. Gone are the days of writing down your chosen line-up on an entry form, and posting it in the ballot box, as this year it can all be done with the click of a button.

The competition provides an entertaining way for spectators to get involved. Punters can figure where their expertise lies, whether that is with Riding Horses, Hunters, Connemara Ponies, Young Horses, Cobs, Mares and Foals, Stallions or even in the Racehorse to Riding Horse class.

If you have what it takes to pick out a winner, then see here, or scan the QR code which will be displayed around the showgrounds. If your selection matches that of the judges you will be entered into a daily draw for the €1,000 prize.

The 2022 Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Dublin Horse Show will be hosted at The Royal Dublin Society (RDS) Arena. More than 1600 horses and ponies from all corners of Ireland as well as some of the most expensive international show jumpers in the world will participate.
