The Irish Farmer’s Association (IFA) will partner with Euronit again for this year’s National Ploughing Championships in Ratheniska, Co. Laois in September, 2022.

Euronit, formerly known as Tegral, has been at the heart of agriculture and farms across Ireland since 1936. They look forward to presenting their new look and having the opportunity to connect again with farmers, fabricators and co-ops from across Ireland.

Tegral as a company has been part of the global building materials group, Etex, since 1988 and has moved towards a change that saw it launch four new commercial brands, each dedicated to a key sector. Euronit is the brand for agricultural products and services.

At the launch, James Kelly, IFA Director of Organisation said: “We are proud to partner with Euronit. It is a partnership that has been renewed for over 15 years. This is an important partnership for IFA as Euronit continues to deliver high-quality products.”

After almost 90 years in Ireland, the company has gained a lot of experience and understanding of what farmers need to run a sustainable, productive and profitable farm. Being the sole manufacturer of both metal and fibre cement sheeting, Euronit guarantees that it can supply you with what best fits your needs, growing with farmers towards a sustainable future.

David McMurtry, Sales Manager of Euronit, Etex Ireland, said: “We’re delighted to finally get back out to support the National Ploughing Championships again and especially to partner with the IFA. While the name Tegral will live on for some, Euronit is building for future generations of Irish farmers.”
