The Friends of the Hunt Museum will host an Antiques Roadshow on Sunday 26 June, 2022 from noon to 4pm. Visitors will be able to have any object identified and valued by a panel of experts from the Irish Antique Dealers Association as well as well-known auctioneers.
These experts will cover all areas including books, coins, general ephemera, glass, ceramics, silver, pictures, furniture, textiles, to name a few. In fact, they will be happy to look at anything you bring along for assessment for which you need information and a valuation.
However, furniture items are best presented as good photographs rather than the piece itself. The cost will be five euros for one object and 10 euros for three items. The proceeds of the roadshow will be used to refurbish a number of showcases within the Museum. This includes a new interpretation of four important medieval bells in the collection.
