The 11th World Potato Congress will convene at The RDS in Dublin from today, 20 May, to 2 June, 2022. The Irish Potato Federation (IPF) will welcome delegates from over 40 countries to the event.
It is envisaged that the 1,000 participants from developing and developed countries across the globe will include growers, researchers, producers, traders, processors and manufacturers.
The Irish Potato Federation has also set up the simultaneous hosting of the Europatat Congress, which is the annual congress of the European association of the potato trade. Both events will become a week-long focus on the potato, the third most important food crop in terms of global consumption.

This will be the first time since May 2018, when the 10th congress was held in Cusco, that global potato professionals have been able to meet face-to-face. The four-day event in Dublin’s RDS provides a unique opportunity to network, do business, and get exclusive access and insight to innovations, trends and developments that are dominating the industry.
In addition to an exciting programme of expert speakers, there will be social events and tours at WPC2022.
