A pilot-scale anaerobic digestion plant currently under construction at Teagasc Grange is due to be commissioned this year. The plant will produce biogas using grass silage and cattle slurry. Teagasc will roll out three new agricultural apprenticeships this year. The news was announced by Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Charlie McConalogue. Protected urea reduces nitrogen losses, study shows
