Feeling hot under the collar took on new meaning in Ireland this week as temperatures reached their highest in more than 25 years yesterday. Met Éireann pegged Oakpark, Co Carlow for the provisional highest temperature on Thursday with 30.4 degrees. Met Éireann has issued an advisory warning of another heatwave developing from Wednesday, 10 August, 2022 and continuing through the rest of the week and the weekend.
