Industry Groups Call For Action on Timber Crisis
Farmers and foresters have called on the Minister of State for Agriculture to tackle licensing delays in the timber industry. The delays have led to slowed tree felling and planting, creating a timber shortage for housebuilding and sawmills. Community Air Ambulance Called to 46 Farm Accidents
The Irish Community Rapid Response (ICCR) air ambulance responded to 46 farming accidents in 2020, accounting for almost one in 10 incidents.
