The Tullamore Show has announced that Accessible Counselling Tullamore (ACT) has been nominated as the main charity at this year’s show. It returns to Butterfield Estate, Blueball, Tullamore, Co. Offaly on August 14, 2022. LSL Auctions will broadcast live to local and international audiences directly from the venue – allowing remote viewers to watch it for the first time.
Each year, Tullamore Show invites applications for the sought-after Charity Spot stand at the show. This is where they can fundraise and raise awareness for the charity. The Tullamore Show and FBD National Livestock Show select only one charity and this year it is ACT’s turn.
The community is at the core of what the show is all about. The event brings people together, many as volunteers. “This year, more than ever, our mental health is being tested with all that is going on in our country and around the world i.e. the Covid-19 pandemic, wars, the rise in cost of living, etc. The list goes on and on.
