The Tullamore Show is back after consecutive cancellations since the start of Covid-19, and this year LSL Auctions will be broadcasting live to local and international audiences. This will allow remote viewers to view the popular event live for the first time ever.
This year’s showcase takes place at the Butterfield Estate, Blueball, Co. Offaly on Sunday, August 14, 2022.
FBD has renewed its title sponsorship of the Tullamore Show and FBD National Livestock Show 2022. Exhibitors can showcase prize livestock, baking goods and crafts, among others features. Enter online via the show website.
“The Tullamore Show is always a great family day out with something of interest for everyone. We look forward to welcoming all urban and rural dwellers to enjoy the diverse attractions and entertainment on August 14,” said Joseph Molloy, chairperson of the Tullamore Show.
Meanwhile, the FBD National Livestock Show will include dairy, pedigree and commercial cattle classes, with prizes to the value of EUR 175,000 in total. Blue Texel, Dassenkop and Spotted Dutch sheep will participate for the first time.
The programme also features competitions in equestrian, poultry, pigs, home industries and inventions. The All-Ireland ‘Pig of the Year’ competition has been added this year.
“On behalf of FBD, I wish everybody involved in organising the Tullamore Show, as well as the competitors, exhibitors, and attendees all the very best from the team at FBD Insurance. FBD is proud to be associated with this outstanding show,” said John Cahalan, FBD’s chief commercial officer.
