2024 at Dungannon Mart: A Year Packed with Premier Livestock and Machinery Auctions

The mart kicks off its 2024 sales on Wednesday, 10th January, with an offering in Ring 1 that includes Heifers and Fat Cows, followed by Steers. The intake for this sale begins bright and early at 7 am and closes at 10 am, with the auction itself commencing at 11 am. That very same day, Ring 3 will see Dropped Calves, Sucklers, and Weanlings going under the hammer, with the intake closing slightly later at 10:30 am for an 11 am start.

Not to leave out the ovine enthusiasts, Thursday, 11th January, is reserved for the Weekly Sheep Sale in Ring 3. The sheep will be welcomed from 9:30 am to 11 am, with the sale starting at 11:30 am. This regular feature remains a highlight for sheep farmers looking to trade in quality stock.

The machinery enthusiasts aren’t left out. The first of several machinery sales in 2024 is scheduled for Friday, 9th February in Ring 1, with intake occurring the day prior, allowing ample time for lotting and viewing. The sale starts at 10 am, promising a day of competitive bidding on a range of agricultural machinery.

Pedigree cattle sales punctuate the calendar with a focus on breeds such as Hereford, Angus, and Beef Shorthorn, starting at noon on selected dates. These sales are a beacon for breeders and buyers seeking top-quality genetics to enhance their herds.

The mart continues its tradition of regular machinery sales throughout the year, ensuring a constant supply of agricultural and industrial equipment to meet the needs of the farming community.
