On Friday, 7th July at 11 a.m., the co-operative will host its special anniversary sale of heifers, complemented by an offering of dry cows and bullocks. This is an event farmers across the region anticipate annually, and bookings will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Monday, 3rd July.

Less than a week later, on Tuesday, 11th July, Roscommon Co-operative turns its focus towards younger livestock with its 64th anniversary sale of weanlings. An event renowned for providing a diverse selection of high-quality livestock, the bookings will be taken until 5 p.m. on Thursday, 6th July.

Mid-week, the co-operative centres its attention on the sale of sheep, including lambs and cast ewes. This sale offers a prime opportunity for sheep farmers and traders to browse and bid on a wide range of sheep breeds. The co-operative stipulates that all stock must be penned by 9:30 a.m., with gates closing at 10 a.m.

The concluding event of the anniversary celebrations, on Friday, 14th July, will be a special sale of bullocks. This event also includes dry cows and heifers, and bookings will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Monday, 10th July.
