Ireland Weather Forecast: Dry and Mostly Sunny Conditions Await from Saturday 27th May to Tuesday 30th May

In the latest weather forecast for Ireland, high pressure is set to dominate the region, bringing mostly dry and sunny conditions from Saturday 27th May to Tuesday 30th May. While some areas may experience cooler temperatures, warm weather is expected in many parts of the country next week.

Saturday, 27th May

Starting with Saturday, the day will be predominantly dry, with the best of the sunshine expected in Leinster and east Munster. However, the western and northern regions may experience cloudier skies, along with the possibility of some drizzle or light showers in certain areas. Temperature-wise, the mercury will rise to a range of 18 to 21 degrees Celsius across the country, although the northwest may see slightly cooler temperatures due to a moderate northwesterly breeze.

As Saturday night approaches, any remaining showers will gradually fade away, leaving mostly dry conditions. The sky will display a mix of clouds and clear spells, with light northerly winds accompanying the night. The lowest temperatures will range from 7 to 11 degrees Celsius.

Sunday, 28th May

Sunday will bring cooler temperatures compared to Saturday, with highs reaching around 14 to 18 degrees Celsius. In the northern regions, temperatures may struggle to reach the teens. Light to moderate northeast winds will prevail, and while the day will remain mainly dry and quite cloudy, there is a chance of a shower in the southern parts. However, as the afternoon progresses, the cloud cover is expected to give way to mostly sunny conditions.

Sunday night will be cool, with the lowest temperatures ranging from 4 to 7 degrees Celsius. It will be a dry and clear night, accompanied by light northeasterly breezes.

Monday, 29th May

Moving on to Monday, the day will see good spells of sunshine, with only a few clouds building up as the day progresses. Highs will range between 17 to 20 or 21 degrees Celsius, with the warmest temperatures expected over the western half of the country. Along the eastern coast, cooler temperatures can be anticipated, accompanied by a light to moderate easterly wind.

Tuesday, 30th May

Tuesday will bring ample sunshine, as a light to moderate easterly wind persists. While the east coast may experience somewhat cooler temperatures, the western regions will enjoy warmer conditions, with highs ranging from 15 to 20 or 21 degrees Celsius.

Looking ahead, the weather is likely to remain mostly dry with an easterly airflow. The eastern regions will see slightly cooler temperatures, reaching the mid to high teens, while the west will continue to experience warmer weather, with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius or higher.
