Castleisland Co-op is seeing an incredible demand for store and fat cows. It appears that 1000s of cows are required to meet massive ringside and online demand .
The mart reports that Midland and local customers are anxious for Fr store cows that can be guaranteed to be dry and empty. Heavy coloured continental cows and FR cows are also required for factory and feed lot agents.
With top prices being achieved weekly, make a note in your diary for their Special Weanling Bank Holiday Sale, which happens next Monday, 6th February.
All exporters will be back in action and are extremely anxious for quality weanlings from 250 – 400kgs.
All farmers with 6 or more weanlings will have a pen of their own.
Special prize for best price per kilo in the weanling section only on the day.
Transport arrangements are available for both buyers and sellers.
