Ireland Weather Forecast: Dry Conditions and Occasional Frost Expected in the Coming Days

Sunday 26th February

Any early frost will rapidly dissipate on Sunday morning, leaving behind a dry day with alternating cloud coverage and intervals of sunshine. Maximum temperatures will range from 6 to 8 degrees, accompanied by light easterly winds that will strengthen to a moderate east-southeasterly breeze later in the day.

Looking at the bigger picture, the high pressure system positioned near Ireland will lead to mostly dry weather conditions, with occasional frost during night-time hours.

Sunday night will be chilly, with variable cloud coverage and minimum temperatures ranging from 0 to +4 degrees Celsius in moderate easterly winds.

Monday, 27th February

he weather is expected to be predominantly cloudy, with a possibility of light showers in the Leinster area. Daytime temperatures will range from 6 to 9 degrees Celsius, with light to moderate east or southeast winds.

As night falls on Monday, clouds will disperse in some regions, allowing frost to develop as temperatures drop to between -1 and +3 degrees Celsius, accompanied by light easterly or variable winds.

Tuesday, 28th February

Weather patterns are expected to remain mostly dry, with occasional light showers and variable cloud coverage. Afternoon temperatures will hover around average for late February, ranging from 6 to 9 degrees Celsius, with light northeasterly winds.

Tuesday night is expected to be dry for the most part, with occasional clear spells and a slight chance of showers in eastern coastal areas. Minimum temperatures will range from 0 to 5 degrees Celsius, with the possibility of frost forming, and light northeasterly winds.

Wednesday, 1st March

The weather will start off cloudy, with brighter spells gradually emerging in the southern regions throughout the day. Afternoon temperatures will reach between 7 and 9 degrees Celsius, accompanied by moderate to fresh easterly winds.
