The Ratheniska site in Co Laois will once again host the next National Ploughing Championships.
The dates for the much-anticipated 2023 National Ploughing Championships have been firmed up – it takes place from Tuesday, September 19, 2023 to Thursday, September 21, 2023.
This will now clock up the 92nd event.
The total attendance figures for the 2022 ‘Ploughing’ reached an amazing 277,000 visitors. Plus noting the over 1,700 exhibitors, this agricultural event was an all-out success.
After speaking with many of the exhibitors and visitors over the 3 days of the last showcase, most were unanimous that it should be staged in Ratheniska once again. The site proved popular for several reasons, including its central location and surrounding road and rail network.
