Septic tank system inspections to increase due to high failure volume
According to data compiled by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), more than half of septic tank systems inspections last year failed because of operational issues such as de-sludging and structural defects. Tight supplies, UK beef prices support trade
IFA Livestock chairman Brendan Golden said tight supplies of suitable cattle and strengthening UK beef prices are underpinning the trade. Despite attempts by factories to offer lower quotes, strong resistance from farmers is returning paid beef prices of up to 15c/kg above quotes. Eurostat data flags increasing gap in household incomes – Feantsa
