The Gorey Agricultural Show Committee is delighted to announce that the venue for their 2022 event is Ashton, Ballycanew, by kind permission of Mrs Anne Hardy and Family. The Hardy Family are well associated with Gorey Agricultural Show having previously hosted the show from 1995 to 2009.
The showcase has had a variety of homes over the years, most recently at Clonattin, Gorey in 2019, and now Ashton makes a well-located venue on the main Gorey to Wexford Road, near exit 23 on the motorway.
This year’s Gorey Agricultural Show will take place on 18 June from 10:00 -18:00, and the committee is working very hard behind the scenes to ensure that this year’s event will be bigger and better.
The organisers pride themselves on providing a fun-filled family day out, with equestrian classes, cattle and sheep showing, craft competitions, pets corner, dog show, and vintage and amusement features.
Their schedule will soon be available online here,www.goreyagriculturalshow.com where you can enter online.
They are currently taking bookings for trade stands. Businesses can book an indoor or outdoor stand by completing the online application. To participate, contact Chairman Willie Cecil at 087/2618273, or see the contacts page on the website.
