The Flavours of Fingal Gardening & Horticultural competition section stands alongside numerous other categories for this year’s show at Newbridge House & Farm, Donabate, Ireland from 2 to 3 July, 2022. The other competition sections include Beef, All Ireland Cook Competition, Photography, Poultry, Dairy, Horse, Sheep and Dairy.
In the horticulture marquee there will be competition classes for Flowers, Pot Plants, Vegetables, Fruit, Home Baking, Handcrafts, Flower Arranging and special Children’s classes under 9yrs and under 15yrs.
In addition, there will be four Irish Shows Association All-Ireland qualifiers:
1. Odlums Home Baking Championship
2. Bord Bia 7 A-Day Best in Season Kitchen Garden
3. Bord Bia Quality Potato Championship
4. Lidl Quality Onion Championship.
Look out for the Flower Arranging demonstrations by Christoper White from Three Gates Nursery Naul, multiple medal winner at Chelsea and Bloom, plus demonstrations on planting seeds, taking cuttings, gardening advice, plant quizzes and more.
