The Art & Antiques Fair Olympia returns for its 49th edition after a two-year break. The dates for this year’s event are 23 to 26 June, 2022, with a preview on 22 June. The showcase will be hosted at Olympia Grand, Hammersmith Rd, London W14 8UX.
The fair will feature an eclectic mix of pieces drawn from antiquity to the present day, and with prices ranging from £100 to £1 million. There will be 120 dealers selling a large variety of stock from Medieval works of art and Elizabethan oak furniture to ceramics, lighting, textiles, glass, jewellery and contemporary art.
Mary Claire Boyd, Art & Antiques Fair Olympia director, comments that, “We are very excited to be able to run a 2022 summer fair after the necessary cancellation of the last two – and the feedback from the trade has been extremely positive.”
A shorter five-day run will make it possible for the organisers to offer competitively priced stands for the event, particularly for non-London-based exhibitors who can enjoy exposure to a metropolitan audience.
The date cadence also brings it more into line with the length of UK arts fairs. Stand costs for dealers will start at £365 per square metre +vat which represents excellent value. The Fair will take place entirely on the ground level in Olympia Grand, the largest of the halls with the iconic domed roof which floods the venue with sunlight.
Fair Olympia offers one of the few remaining opportunities for art and antique dealers to access buyers from London and its surrounding areas.
