Live exports of animals were down 23 per cent last year compared to 2019, the Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine revealed. The Agriculture Minister has promised to accommodate the ‘forgotten farmers’ in the next CAP. The European Food Safety Authority is reviewing an application to allow caffeine to be used as an insecticide and molluscicide.
