Offered for sale in lots, with a guide of between €750,000 and €800,000, bidders can come in person or bid online with LSL Auctions.

At auction, the holding will be offered in several lots with the first comprised of around 31 acres including the milking yard and cattle accommodation. The second is made up of 63 acres of grassland, while the entire 94 acres will also be offered.

Auctioneer Padraic Murtagh of James L Murtagh auctioneers, said the prime limestone lands are renowned for their fattening capacity.

Describing the lands of excellent quality, they are all in permanent pasture with no waste whatsoever.

The auction will take place at 4pm, on Friday 30 July at the Greville Arms Hotel, Mullingar and online with attendees asked to pre-register.

The well-equipped farmland has extensive frontage to a road parallel to the Royal Canal. It is laid out in two separate divisions and is located 2km from Ballinacargy, 16km from Mullingar and 20km from Ballymahon.

Both divisions are well-sheltered and fenced, have good road frontage with piped water running to each lot. Overall, the lands are serviced by a roadway with the potential to repair and further develop the roads.

However, buyers should be aware that the current letting agreement for grazing is due to expire on 1 December 2021, which can coincide with the closing of the sale. There is also a letting agreement in place regarding the cattle yard and accommodation which is due to expire on 1 April 2022.
