Ireland Weather Forecast: Wednesday 12 May

Mist and fog will clear gradually today. The northern half of the country will be mainly dry at first, but showers in Munster and south Leinster will become widespread during the day. There will be a risk of hail and scattered thunderstorms but also some bright or sunny spells too. Maximum temperatures 11 to 15C, in variable breezes.

In the early and later evening there will be scattered showers with some mist and fog forming later. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6C.
