Becoming cloudy on Thursday but largely staying dry through Munster and Leinster. Some patchy light rain in Connacht and Ulster moving southeastwards. Heavier rain will move into the northwest through the evening. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10C in moderate to fresh southwest winds.
In the evening rain will continue over the south of the country. Winds turn northerly behind the rain bringing a return to colder weather. Lows of -1 to 4C, with light westerly winds.
