Thursday will be a cool and showery day. Some of the showers will be heavy with hail and a risk of slow-moving thundery downpours through the afternoon. The best of the sunny spells will be in western areas. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11C with light northerly breezes. Showers will ease late in the evening to leave a dry night. A patchy late season frost will form as minimum temperatures fall to between -1 to 4C in calm conditions.
