Ireland Weather Forecast: Thursday 25 March

On Thursday, some sunny spells and heavy blustery showers, mainly affecting the western half of the country during the morning but becoming widespread as the day goes on. Rain likely in the west later in the evening. Highest temperatures of 9 to 13C with southwesterly winds.

In the evening, the rain will move eastwards across the country, becoming heavy at times. Scattered heavy showers of rain, hail or sleet will follow into the west later in the night. Lowest temperatures will fall to between 1 and 4C with southwest winds.
