Cootehill Mart is set to re-open under new management, it has been revealed.
An official opening date has not yet been confirmed but it is understood the new management plans to start trading from March.
The mart in Co. Cavan, formerly known as Station Road Mart, ceased operation last month. The business will now be operated by Geoffrey and his son Steven Drury. They have leased the site for 10 years.
The Drury family have links to the mart, as Geoffrey worked there since the 1980s and his grandfather sold cattle at the same mart.
