Access upgrades – rural homes and farms

More funding for upcoming agricultural shows
Heather Humphreys, Minister for Rural and Community Development, has confirmed post-pandemic funding to the tune of EUR 700,000 to support upcoming agricultural shows. The support is possible through the government’s Our Rural Future policy. The Department of Rural and Community Development has announced that €11 million has been set aside to carry out upgrades and repairs to rural roads and laneways. The aim of the funding is to improve access to homes, farms and outdoor amenities.
