Cabinet approves support package for pig sector

The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) has confirmed that cabinet has approved a €15.8 million support package for the pig sector. Minister to assess pig farming requests from IFA

The Irish Farmers’ Association (IFA) has confirmed that they have met with Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine Charlie McConalogue, following protests by pig farming members in Dublin City earlier this week.
