Pig Exceptional Payment Scheme has processed 75% of applications received
The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue says that a total of 252 applications were received under the Pig Exceptional Payment Scheme (PEPS). Of this total 75% have since been processed for payment, McConalogue adds. Delay in roll-out of Micro-generation support scheme
Concern is mounting as there appears to be a delay in the roll-out of the Micro-generation support scheme. According to independent TD for Laois-Offaly, Carol Nolan, farms and families are losing out as the measure is still not operational.
