Calf registrations pass two-million mark

The Irish Cattle Breeding Federation (ICBF) says that calf registrations have reached 1,601,637 head for the year to date. The data compiled from information gathered from the week ending 22 April, shows that 67,793 calves were registered on farms in the seven previous days. ICBF figures show that calf registration is climbing
Recent figures from the Irish Cattle Breeding Federation (ICBF) show that the total number of calves registered for the year to date is 856,878 head. The week ending 4 March 2022, totalled 139,451 head registered. Compared to the same period last year, registrations are 3,413 head further on.
