Higher output prices push up farm incomes, Teagasc Farm Survey

A Teagasc review, released yesterday 14 June, 2022, has concluded that higher output prices across most farm enterprises were the main driver of the increase in farm incomes in 2021. But, the scale of the increase in income varied considerably across farm systems. Home planning permissions increase by over 21%

The latest statistics from the Central Statistics Office (CSO) indicate that planning permissions were granted for 8,463 new homes between January and March of 2022 – of which 4,687 were houses and 3,776 were apartments.
