Another cloudy day with a few light showers possible. A few bright or sunny spells will develop during the course of the day. Highest temperatures ranging between 16 to 20C, in light east or variable winds. Largely dry on Friday night with a few patches of mist and drizzle. Minimum temperatures of 9 to 12C, in light east or southeast breezes. 

Continuing largely dry on Friday and Saturday before likely turning less settled from the west on Sunday with showers, and perhaps longer spells of rain. Becoming breezier but also warmer.

English farmers are being offered grants of up to £5,000 by Defra if they restock trees that are diseased or pest-ridden.
