8% increase in Domestic BER audits in 2021

Dwellings built in 2015-2021 were considerably more energy efficient than those built in earlier periods, with 98% given an “A” rating compared with 34% in 2010-2014 and 1% in 2005-2009. Plea for enhanced Sheep Welfare Scheme

The government increased the allocation for the Sheep Welfare Scheme from €17m in 2021 to €19.5m in 2022. This was to cover the scheme’s continuation in 2022 and to change the reference year.
