A 24-acre non-res farm in Mullingar has been sold for €460,000 by Murtagh Bros and LSL Auctions.
At the online auction yesterday (Thursday) the price reached equates to €18585.86 per acre. A guide price of €300,000 had been expected for the land.
The lot consists of pasture land with mature timber and parkland setting. The farm is located minutes from Mullingar town in Co. Westmeath.
Agents said the land with road frontage would make a wonderful setting for a residence, subject to planning approval.
