The following day, Thursday, 11th January, beckons the buyers of mature livestock with the Cow and Factory Bulls Sale, starting at 3:00 pm post an 11:00 am intake. This sale promises a robust selection of cows and bulls suited for various agricultural needs.
As the week draws to a close, Friday, 12th January, presents an assortment of Heifers, Young Bulls, and Bullocks. The day’s activities begin with an intake at 9:00 am and the sale starting promptly at noon. The dairy theme continues on Wednesday, 24th January, with another Dairy Sale, unique for its 10:00 am start time right after intake. Bookings for this day are currently being accepted, indicating a high level of interest and anticipation among dairy farmers.
A highlight of the month is the Anniversary Sale on Thursday, 25th January. This special event will showcase Cows & Factory Bulls, starting at 10:30 am. The Anniversary Sale marks a significant milestone for Gortatlea Mart, celebrating its commitment to excellence in livestock trading.
The month wraps up with an E&U Grade Bull Weanlings sale on Wednesday, 31st January, starting at 2:00 pm. This sale is tailored for those in search of top-quality weanling bulls with excellent grading.
Looking ahead to February, Gortatlea Mart will host an E&U Grade Heifer Weanlings sale from Sunday, 7th February to Wednesday, 7th February. These events focus on female weanlings, providing a range of options for buyers.
