The Autumn Born category adds another layer of appeal, offering weanlings that are naturally hardy, having been reared in the toughest of weather conditions.
As summer gives way to the changing hues of autumn, Gort Co-Op Livestock Mart will hold another Show & Sale on Thursday, 24th August. This time, the spotlight will be on Limousin Autumn Born Weanlings. These animals, distinguished by their hardiness, adaptability, and excellent feed conversion efficiency, are highly sought after in the cattle market.
To cap off the month, the Mart has scheduled a Show & Sale for Charolais and Other Breed Autumn Born Weanlings on Thursday, 31st August. The Charolais breed, known for its quick growth, lean meat and high dressing percentage, will be showcased along with various other breeds, ensuring a wide variety of weanlings for prospective buyers.
