The southern region of the United Kingdom will experience a brighter day, with sunny spells expected to develop. Western Scotland may also see some sunshine, accompanied by light winds. However, the rest of the region will be rather cloudy, with a few showers anticipated in the north and west. Temperatures are expected to remain close to average.
Moving on to tonight, cloud coverage will increase, although clear spells may persist in parts of western Scotland, western Wales, and southwest England. Frost may occur in these areas.
Friday 3rd March
The region will experience mostly dry weather, but with frequent cloud cover. The best chances for sunshine will be across central and western Scotland, as well as southeast England. Temperatures will remain around average.
Saturday 4th March to Monday 6th March
The weather is predicted to be mostly cloudy, with scattered light showers. Some breaks in the cloud coverage may occur, particularly to the lee of high ground. Temperatures are expected to drop as colder air moves in from the northeast. By Monday, snow and hail showers may occur.
