Agricultural Land Prices report shows decline in volume sold
The Central Statistics Office (CSO) released the Agricultural Land Prices for 2020 on 10 February, 2022. Farmers across Ireland have been urged to carry out soil analysis in order to determine pH and identify low phosphorus (P) and potash (K) index soils. BirdWatch Ireland has raised concerns that biodiversity measures currently included in Ireland’s CAP Strategic Plan do not go far enough to protect Irish farmland birds.
